 Melanie graduated from the Academy of Cosmetology Arts in 1994 and started her career in Aveda at the Breckenridge Hair Company.  In 2003 she became the owner. Since then she has taken Aveda master cutting and color classes, among many product knowledge, hair extension, trends, clippers, and men’s cutting to mention a few. Melanie loves training new stylists and keeping up on new hair trends. Her greatest passion is hair color, and making people beautiful.

 Sedna’s love for the beauty industry started early, she’s been in the salon since just 14, growing up in the salon and inspired by her mom’s footsteps. After graduating from the Academy of Cosmetology Arts in 2016, she turned that lifelong passion into a career rooted in creativity and precision. With a strong artistic eye and true attention to detail, Sedna specializes in color and creating effortless beautiful looks, especially for weddings and special events where every detail matters.

She is also certified in Babe and Hairtalk extensions, including hand-tied methods, allowing her to create seamless, natural-looking volume and length tailored to each client. Sedna is committed to continued growth, regularly taking advanced education courses with Aveda and Jane Iredale. She loves not only enhancing her clients’ beauty in the chair but also empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to recreate their look at home.

 With years of experience and training rooted in Cincinnati, Sarah brought her talent to Breckenridge Hair Company in early 2018—and she’s been making clients feel their best ever since. She’s extensively trained in multiple professional color lines, including Aveda and Goldwell, giving her a well-rounded, customized approach to every guest in her chair. Sarah shines when it comes to seamless grey coverage, dimensional balayage, long layered cuts, and elegant updos. Whether you’re looking for something low-maintenance or a total refresh, she has an eye for creating looks that feel both modern and wearable. Always staying ahead of the trends, Sarah continues to invest in her craft through advanced Aveda education and product knowledge courses. Her goal is simple: to make sure you leave feeling confident, comfortable, and completely in love with your hair - every single time. 

Tonda graduated from the Artistic Beauty College in 2007. She also graduated with a license from the American Barber Academy in 2015. She began her career at the Breckenridge Hair Company in 2008 and loved it so much, she gave us 8 great years! After a brief mountain-hiatus, Tonda is thrilled to be back with Breck Hair!

Tonda’s passion and talent for hair covers any and all haircare, haircutting and coloring. She loves creating special looks, unique to the lifestyles of her diverse clientele. Whether its straight shaving barber designs, creating beautiful blondes or colorful Mohawks, or sculpting original updos, Tonda has a specialty in communicating thoroughly with her guests to ensure the highest quality and satisfaction!

 Natalie, a Denver-born native, graduated from Paul Mitchell The School in Colorado Springs in 2013 and made her way to Breckenridge in 2014, where mountain life quickly became home. She embraces the art of natural beauty, but when inspired, she isn’t afraid to create bold, edgy, and daring styles that make a statement.

As a true perfectionist with a sharp eye for detail, Natalie takes pride in making sure every client leaves feeling confident and loving their look. She has experience with multiple professional color lines and is constantly advancing her skills through continuing education to stay on top of modern hair and makeup trends.

Natalie’s favorite techniques and specialties are balayage, highlights and root colors; creating effortlessly natural results that grow out beautifully. Her passion is rooted in helping people feel beautiful inside and out, and she brings warmth, creativity, and a little bit of fun to every appointment in her chair.
 

  Born in Colombia and living in Colorado for the past 7 years-- A place that has allowed me to grow, reinvent myself, and connect with people from all walks of life. My journey in the beauty industry began over 10 years ago, when I discovered that through makeup and hairstyling, I could not only transform appearances but also boost self-esteem and awaken confidence in others.  

In 2024, I graduated as a hairstylist from the renowned Aveda Institute Denver, where I refined my technique, learned to care for hair using quality products, and create styles tailored to each face, personality, and moment.  

Today, with a decade of experience and countless stories shared in my chair, real beauty begins when you feel like yourself. And my job is to help you get there. 

This is not just about beauty-- it is about connection, confidence, and self-worth.

  Kate began her career in the country music capital of Nashville, TN before expanding her expertise in Atlanta, GA. In 2018, she followed her adventurous spirit to Colorado and quickly made it home. 

With 18 years behind the chair, Kate specializes in multi-dimensional color, including blonding, lived-in color, and vibrant fashion shades. She is also certified in hand-tied extensions, creating seamless length and volume for those dreaming of mermaid worthy hair. 

When she's not in the salon, you'll find Kate in the mountains hiking with her dog, snowboarding, or staying active at the gym. She looks forward to welcoming you to Breckenridge Hair and helping you feel confident, refreshed, and beautiful in your new look!  

  Raised in her grandmother’s salon, Jesseka grew up surrounded by the rhythm of blow dryers, the scent of color, and the quiet confidence that comes from great hair. What started as early exposure quickly became a purpose driven passion.

As an experienced apprentice, she specializes in refined highlights and dimensional color, creating effortless, lived-in looks that enhance natural beauty. She focuses on hair that grows out well, fits your lifestyle, and keeps you feeling confident long after your appointment.

Jesseka is dedicated to continuous learning and thoughtful, personalized care. Known for her warm energy and attention to detail, she creates a comfortable, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, relaxed, and completely themselves; because great hair is just the bonus.
